“ Came for breakfast and omg was not disappointed. Something for everyone on the menu. I got the Butties 2 Egger. What’s pictured is what’s left half way through when I remember to take a picture. Very generous portions. Sausage is top quality and fresh. Not some supermarket prepack. The bacon is thick cut and SO flavourful. Server cared enough to ask how crispy we like it. Constant top up on coffee and attentive friendly service. Everything was positive. My ONLY recommendation would be some seasoning for the eggs. (My recommendation and I dare you to try it - a little garlic powder, paprika, s&p and a touch of lemon pepper or lemon juice) 13/10 recommend visiting for the food and authenticity. ”
“ From the moment you step through the door, it’s clear this family-owned restaurant is something special. The food is delicious with perfectly balanced flavours and traditional Scottish dishes available. The decor is charming, atmosphere is bright and the service is wonderful. If you’re looking for a place that’s friendly, welcoming and honours tradition — with great all day breakfast — look no further. Many thanks to Rachel and her team . ”
“ Went here for the first time while out shopping in Ancaster during the holidays. Seating/dining area is very spacious and clean, decor is so cute and very Scottish! I got the Butties Big Canadian Breakfast (pictured) and it was amazing! HUGE portions, so reasonable prices. My boyfriend got the haggis eggs benedict breakfast and he enjoyed it. Service was very fast and friendly/attentive. Nice little grocery/deli area inside too. Would go here again and pick up some baked goods (sausage rolls and hand pies)! Thanks again!! ”
“ First time dining at Butties of Scotland. Located in a plaza, a tall airy atmosphere inside, well decorated and genuine products of Scotland. Staff is nice and helpful. We met the owner, Rachel, who's step father founded and owns 3 Butties in Scotland. She was delightful and took the time to speak with us and serve us. Food was delicious and generous. My wife, and 3 kids had a lovely meal and time. We were visiting the area for my son's soccer tournament. We will be back next time we are in the neighborhood. Keep up the great work! ”
“ We went to Butties on a while in March and we’re not disappointed. Having grown up with Scottish grandparents I felt like I had been transported back to my childhood. Everything was delicious and very well prepared. We took our friends back a few weeks later and they also really enjoyed it as well. ”
“ Had the Butties Big Scottish Breakfast. Hit the spot and fully satisfied the craving. Full marks for the breakfast. Service was pleasant. They have shelf along the wall with some packaged Scottish treats and foods. Also have home made traditional pies (eat in or take home); fresh or frozen stuff to take home. No frills but pleasant ambiance. Excellent family establishment. Will visit again. ”
“ Good location, parking, and accessibility. Clean, airy place. Fast courteous and professional service. The food was tasty and plentiful. The haggis is a must. And the coffee just keeps coming. The attendants will make you smile with honest conversation. Worth every penny. Highly recommend. ”
“ Great place for all day breakfast and lunch! We had a fried egg with cheese on a fresh bun and a grilled cheese with baked beans; everything was delicious! The staff and service were excellent. We purchased a few of our favourite treats as well. Check this place out; you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended ”
